We're Loving: Acrobats of God

It's no secret that heels are back in a big—and steep—way this season. And while we love the form (and views) offered up by a towering pair of stilettos or platforms, it's the ability the function that we often falter at.

Lucky for us, and anyone else faced with the inability to gracefully—and yes, sometimes even walk—in heels, there's deliverance in Acrobats of God. Constructed from woven elastic and leather bands, these strappy shoes are like a Herve Leger bandage dress for your feet. They're universally flattering, and like Leger's iconic dress, nothing's budging an inch out of place. Trust us when we say that you can run in these puppies.

Designer Nicole Brundage cut her teeth fashioning footwear for Zac Posen, before starting her own namesake line, eventually followed by Acrobats of God, which she founded earlier this year.

We're smitten with the on-trend beige "Nouba" style, which sits atop a awesomely-sculptural wooden heel. Once upon a time, we would have been daunted by its height, but now we're feeling pretty footloose (and fancy feet).
