The biannual Manolo Blahnik sale in midtown has become stuff of legend: The event commandeers an impressive amount of space at the Warwick Hotel on 54th Street, and Andre Leon Tally himself has been known to stake out a claim on a corner and start doling out (very excellent) advice to shoppers trying on shoes nearby.
Bottom line: It's a scene worth seeing, and there's often ample styles and sizes to go around -- even if the majority aren't necessarily from current seasons. What's more, Racked NY reports that this season's sale will be twice as long as usual, which means more time for you to sneak away on your lunch break, or a "doctor's appointment."
