The annual Victoria's Secret fashion show is a tribute to spectacle, pageantry, and of course, good old fashioned sex appeal. As such, it often presents some over-the-top moments. Here, 10 of our favorites.
The most over-the-top wings of the evening belonged to veteran angel Karolina Kurkova, who made a triumphant return to the runway wearing these towering peacock wings, complete with peacock train.
Equally spectacular were these gold-and-white stunners, complete with feathers trailing on ribbons.
Among the "sexy" outfits we never really expected to see coming down a Victoria's Secret runway: this massive skirt.
In another interesting costume choice, many onlookers couldn't help thinking that body-painted models during the "tribal" part of the evening bore a striking resemblance to Rodarte's Spring 2010 collection.
Last of the odd costume choices: a soccer ball shrug, which Behati Prinsloo bravely showed off during the "sporty" section of the program.
Something for our holiday wish-list: These spiked, over-the-knee platform boot.
This show features gymnasts! In addition to executing gravity-defying maneuvers during the runway presentation, these strapping lads also helped model Isabel with her dumbbells.
In one of the more audience participation-focused moments of the show, Chanel Iman tried to rev up the crowd by firing a bubble gun machine into the first few rows.
Fortunately, she also got a more respectable set of wings, paired an incredibly ornate, sparkling corset.
Lastly, but definitely worth a mention: The star wattage at the event was a decidedly mixed bag. In addition to Maroon Five, Alexander Wang, and Adrian Grenier, the funniest front-row pairing had to be Alan Cumming and Vin Diesel.
