The fashion police is real, New York, and they're watching.
All week, Mercedes-Benz -- the official sponsor of IMG's Fashion Week at Lincoln Center -- is unleashing a custom 2012 CLS 63 AMB on the city, ferrying a team of "enforcers" around the city, who will apparently randomly select stylish looking New Yorkers and give them passes to fashion week, or even a ride to the tents.
Unfortunately, there was little they could do about the lack of uptown service on the 1 train (the so-called "fashion line") at the 66th Street station over the weekend.
