This may be the last season to enjoy over-the-top, ridiculous platforms, so we'd suggest snapping up the latest offerings from Christian Siriano and Louise Goldin to hit Payless and Topshop, respectively.
We'd marveled at Louise Goldin's studded heel as soon as images hit our hot little hands -- and franky, we still wonder if they're safe for urban wear with all those spikes. No matter, they're hot as sin, and available in a few colors (black on black seems extra-edgy, but we kind of like the white-and-gold version).
Similarly, Christian Siriano's crazy-looking heels -- straight off his Spring 2010 runway -- practically defy physics with their claw-like heels and extreme silhouettes, but at $79.99, we're willing to try 'em out. We're especially fond of the ankle-cuff version (though the cool water color-print pump is so eye-catching), mostly because it, perhaps, may offer a bit more support.
