Giorgio Armani's custom looks for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball tour include a headpiece made out of a keyboard.
Lady Gaga has worked with countless designers and artists to create her spectacular stage and red carpet looks, but for her latest tour, she's teamed up with a legend in the industry -- Giorgio Armani -- to create the costumes for her new Born This Way Ball tour, which kicks off April 27th in Seoul, Korea.
The costumes certainly reflect a more avant-garde sensibility than Armani's more subdued work for other celebrities like, for example, Princess Charlene of Monaco. One costume features a keyboard headpiece with violin sleeves.
In a statement, Armani said, “Collaborating with Lady Gaga is always an exciting experience for me ... I admire the way she uses fashion as a scenic element and as a means to build a character. She is an artist of many talents and great intelligence.”
The costumes feature spikes, black Swarovski crystals, and, in the case of this look, a "luminous PVC element" that will create "flashes of synthetic light inside the garment."

This isn't the first time that Gaga and Armani have collaborated on something custom. In 2010, the diva wore this celestial Armani Prive gown on the red carpet at the Grammys.
