Huzzah! We may have been robbed of our Isabel Marant flagship in time for Fashion Week, but at least we can snag some nifty new threads from Rad Hourani's long-awaited diffusion line, Rad by Rad Hourani, launched yesterday in e-commerce form.
True, the opening graphic -- a series of tiny, repreated images of the collection on men and women -- may give you a bit of a headache, but click through and you will find oversized scarves, Hourani's signature assymetrical jackets, stovepipe pants, and a whole lot of vests for under $500. The real achievement of this diffusion line (besides being launched online -- thank you, Rad) is it looks and feels just like Hourani's main collection, rather than a watered-down or lower quality version. Perhaps he'll incorporate some Rad by Rad pieces in his runway presentation next week? We'll just have to wait and see.
