One to Watch: Boessert/Schorn

Berlin-based label Boessert/Schorn has infiltrated the very stylish set here in New York, bringing their lopsided layers on sharply constructed knits stateside.

The established designer-duo Sonia Boessert and Brigitte Schorn attended school together in Germany, before founding their namesake label in 2002, going on to show their collections in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo fashion weeks.

Still blessedly flying under the radar here, the label is stocked at impeccably stylish and savvy shops like Jumelle -- owner Candice Waldron first introduced us to a delightful sweater dress -- and Assembly New York

The line's accordion-strip sleeves, holographic prints, inventive silhouettes, and day dresses with all-over bustles make for chic cocoons in which to burrow as winter plows ahead.
