Almost everything sold at the hip downtown men's chain, Odin, could be called "unisex." From cozy grandpa cardigans to indie-designer necklaces, ladies shop this men's boutique as often as the boys (we even recall Elle Fashion Director, Nina Garcia, reporting on a Dior Homme blazer she purchased from Odin to conceal her belly during pregnancy). Now, with a new line of unisex fragrances just in time for the holidays, it seems Odin is honoring its glorious history of androgyny.
The fragrance trio, titled simply Odin New York, was developed with elite German parfumeur, Drom, and is available in three soft variations: Nomad, with notes of juniper and cedar, Owari, with mandarin and grapefruit, and Century, with silver birch, Cypress, and forest mint. We'd consider buying these for all the edgy youngsters on our shopping list, so long as we had some guarantee we'd receive a bottle in return.
Odin fragrances are available at all the chain's downtown locations: 328 East 11th Street, 199 Lafayette Street, 750 Greenwich Street.
