McQueen Unveils Spooky Video for Skull Scarves Just in Time for Halloween

Among the fashion-forward alternatives to a ghoulish Halloween costume, one item stands out from the pack: Alexander McQueen's seasonal iterations on the skull theme that has become an omnipresent fixture in its collections.

And just in time for Halloween, the brand has unveiled a new dreamy video by Paris-based director and photographer Babette Pauthier.

The scarves range from tiny printed skulls on richly-hued fabrics to a large black-and-white skull and feather motif on silk. All the scarves are 140 centimeters square, which is large enough to arrange in a dazzling number of ways -- if you can afford the $555-$595 price tag.
