Marlon Brando Estate Sues Joe's Jeans

Legendary actor Marlon Brando's estate is suing the denim company for infringing on his name in calling one of its jackets "Brando."

Proof that even six years after the film icon's death, you shouldn't mess with the man behind Don Corleone: Brando Enterprises, founded by the Marlon Brando Living Trust, has officially filed a lawsuit against Joe's Jeans for using the actor's name and likeness without permission for their "Brando Leather Jacket" as well as their newsletter, which is called The Wild One -- after Brando's opus movie.

According to the suit, Brando Enterprises is seeking compensation and damages for the "unauthorised commercial use of the Brando publicity rights."
