Lindsay Lohan's had a rough time of it from a designing perspective -- from her Ungaro runway debacle to allegedly copying a Jen Kao dress for her new 6126 clothing line -- but she clearly seems to be following the old adage of "if at first you don't succeed" quite seriously.
Lohan has teamed up with a former Dolce & Gabbana collection to create four handbags under her 6126 label, one of which is this chain-strap satchel called "The Monroe" that can be worn five different ways. People's StyleWatch got the exclusive, along with some varying images of the new bag. The other styles, according to StyleWatch, have some rather questionable names ("Glam-A Go Go" and "The Kitten With A Whip" among them) and range from a snake-embossed bag to a carryall with "bohemian metal fringe," and all the bags will be priced in the rather affordable $165-$395 range. What's more, LiLo apparently plans to follow this bag collection up with "7286," a line of bags for Spring 2011 retailing for under $165.
These new 6126 bags will be available in stores just in time for the holidays, though we're not sure we're that infatuated with the first design. Maybe we're just not enticed by "nightclub-inspired" handbags, though we do appreciate the versatility of a bag that can be worn several ways.
