Kris Jenner to Launch QVC Line During Fashion Week

Following in the footsteps of her fashion-forward daughters, the matriarch of the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner, is entering the fashion fray with a line for QVC called Kris Jenner Kollection. The new line is set to debut during QVC's live New York Fashion Week broadcast on September 8, WWD reports.

Up until recently, Jenner's daughers -- whom she managers -- have been the ones in the fashions spotlight, spearheading the K-Dash line for QVC and a new Sears line called the Kardashian Collection (which has recently come under fire for allegedly copying a local designer's handbag line). But Jenner actually sold exercise equipment with her husband, Brody Jenner, on QVC in the '90s, so she's been arguably ahead of the game.

As one might expect, the Kris Jenner Kollection falls on the affordable end of the spectrum (from $35 to $140), and also includes a variety of casual-to-cocktails pieces like a trench coat, black leggings, and a burgundy dress with cut-outs at the shoulder.

Jenner told WWD that she sees the family's empire continue to expand: "I think to be designing clothes and to expand that into home and children and jewelry and accessories ... that’s where I see us going, to a place where we can keep evolving as designers and giving people a little of our own personalities."

Naturally, Jenner plans to wear the collection on the new season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," and to tweet about the line. The question remains, however, at what point the market will reach its saturation point when it comes to all things Kardashian: Between Kim's wedding and Sketchers endorsements, the K-Dash and Sears collections, the Dash boutique chain, and numerous other deals, the clan may soon need to grow a bit more selective with where and when it chooses to make endorsements.
