Kaight Opens a Second Shop in Brooklyn

Good news for Brooklyn fans of eco-chic clothing: LES green boutique Kaight just opened a second shop on Atlantic Avenue.

Despite the new outpost's white walls, high cielings, and concrete floors, owner Kate McGregor assures us that she'll remain true to the eco-conscious design focus that cultivated in her cozy, woodsier Orchard Street boutique.

"It’s a little different in the sense that this space was a former gallery," said McGregor, who says that she was location- and style-conscious when it came to merchandising the new store with pieces from go-to labels like Gabriella Artigas and Vivienne Westwood Anglomania.

Key designers including Elizabeth Gillett, Study by Tara St. James, and Collina Strada are all present and accounted for, too -- some produced exclusive designs and style runs just for the second shop.

"It's a bit sparser- and cooler-feeling, I would say," said McGregor, "But our customer will still feel at home."  Curious to see the new space for yourself? We'd recommend hitting up the new store opening party on Saturday, September 18 from 6-9PM.
