Grab your platforms and pile on the glitter: Glam rock made a major comeback on the spring 2011 runways.

If you thought your days of gold lame and full-face makeup were through, think again: New York in the 1980's was all about platforms, glitter, and gender-bending ensembles as per the New York Dolls, but designers reinterpreted the glam rock look for spring with heaps of studs and sparkles. Jeremy Scott saluted Madonna's infamous cone bra with a beaded bustier of his own design.
