Clippings: Kristen Wiig Plays Carmen Miranda, Brigitte Bardot for V Magazine

- We're kind of obsessed with "Saturday Night Live"'s Kristen Wiig, so we're ecstatic to see her getting a spread in one of the glossies -- even if she does have fruit on her head. The comedienne posed as Carmen Miranda, Brigitte Bardot, Frida Kahlo, and more in the latest issue of V Magazine. [NY Daily News]

- It-designer Isabel Marant explained to Grazia why she has such an issue with the interwebs: "I think it’s too fast and too fake. It’s like going to a museum on the internet – where is the pleasure? It’s sad because everyone is running after everything, but after what? Everything is too quick." She also sees fashion shows as "trade shows for the press." While her fashion week opinions are certainly refreshing, we must admit, we really (really) wish we could buy more of Marant's wares online. Or that her store were opening sooner! [Grazia]

- Diane von Furstenberg released an album? That can't be right. Except that it is! "Proud to Be a Woman" benefits Vital Voices and includes tracks from Mary J. Blige, Joss Stone, and Estelle. [Fashion Week Daily]

- With all the steps on the new Oscar stage, apparently starlets are being cautioned to watch their heel heights and wear dresses they can actually move in. What?! This is the Oscars people! [Page Six]

- In case you didn't know, organized retail crime is on the rise. Watch your handbag deliveries! [WWD]
