With Christopher Bailey at its helm, Burberry has become an unstoppable British force whose latest venture, Burberry Beauty, carries over to cosmetics the essentials of being English. The line will drop at Nordstrom on Monday and then at Burberry June 24.
For the new line of skin and color makeup including foundation, powder, bronzer, lipsticks and eyeshadows, the New York Times cited influences ranging from the Burberry classic trench to the island's oft-gloomy weather, and of course, the English rose. Burberry Beauty aims to make-up (or down) women in the most understated way, Bailey told the Times -- a very typically Burberry aesthetic.
