This week, Carey Mulligan dazzled on the London Film Critics' Circle Awards red carpet in a '40s-style Roland Mouret dress and bright blue platforms.

By far one of our favorite looks of the week was Elettera Wiedemann in a royal blue one-piece, which she sported to the Stella McCartney store opening in Soho. The elegant lace overlay and trim tailoring gave the outfit a luxe, couture-like look.
Stella McCartney feted the opening of her new Soho store in an understated black blouse and slouchy trousers.

Kate Beckinsale donned a shimmery gold number accented by matching gold bangles for the Hollywood premiere of her film, "Underworld: Awakening."

Also at "Underworld," actress Alexa Vega sported a sassy mini-dress with a big, black satin bow.

We were exceedingly impressed to see Carmen Electra at the "Underworld" premiere in a sophisticated all-white dress with a subtle flare at the waist.
Actress Jessica Chastain went for a romantic, black lace look for the New York premiere of "Coriolanus."
Also at "Coriolanus," actress Kelsey Chow looked fresh and stylish in a semi-sheer white dress worn over a polka-dot bustier.

For the premiere of "Project Runway All-Stars," show favorite Austin Scarlet was extra dapper in an all-white ensemble styled to look like a tuxedo. (Upon closer inspection, we realized the jacket was really a cream-colored cardigan).

In addition to looking a bit like Tilda Swinton, Marie Claire editor and Project Runway judge Joanna Coles shares the actress' penchant for edgy, unexpected looks on the red carpet. Case in point: this strong-shoulder top and flared leather trouser.

At a screening of "Haywire" at the Sunshine Cinema in downtown New York, Elizabeth banks managed to look bundled yet chic, clad all in black.

Ewan McGregor took a similar tack at the "Haywire" screening in this crisp dark pea coat with subtle leather details.

Model Damaris Lewis hit the grand re-opening of Jay-Z's 40/40 Club in a slinky black maxi dress with a dramatic, hip-high slit skirt.
Selita Ebanks also made a cameo at 40/40 Club clad in a colorful fur jacket, nude jersey dress, and eye-catching snake pumps.
Martha Stewart showed off her classic sense of style in a cropped, mustard coat and short suede pants for the kick-off of the Winter Antiques Show.
