Shimmery glitter manicures are ubiquitous on the sidewalks this season. Lucky for us, Nadine Feber, co-owner of the luxe TenOverTen nail salon in Tribeca, volunteered to test out a shimmery, statement-making look with the help of nail art expert, Paulina.

Step 1: First, Paulina prepped nails with a quick base coat to ensure polish would go on evenly.

Step 2 Apply TenOverTen's silvery metallic polish in "Reade" for a sophisticated look with subtle sheen.

Step 3 For a touch of added glam, Paulina carefully adds glitter tips, painting Kiss Nail Art polish in silver glitter in a thin line across the top of each nail. Quick tip here: Take care not to get too much polish on the brush.

Step 4: On Nadine's right hand, Paulina created a cool coppery look using a coat of TenOverTen's "Walker" polish.

Step 5: As a playful touch, Paulina painted a single glittery nail on Nadine's ring finger using Essie's "A Cut Above" pink polish.

Step 6: To compliment the silvery tips on Nadine's left hand, Paulina applies a thin line of Chanel's "Gold Fingers" polish to the top of each copper nail.
