Healthy, glowy skin with a fresh-from-the-plains flush ruled the runway at Band of Outsiders, where makeup artist Dick Page created an "au natural" look using tonal variations of Shiseido foundation. To start, models' skin was prepped with a layer of soothing moisturizer to restore a natural dewiness.

After correcting for blemishes and splotches, artists worked with three to four shades of foundation to create a naturally glowy effect. Try dabbing your preferred foundation shade using a wedge applicator from the high parts of the face and blending outward. Then dab one to two shades lighter at the cheekbones, forehead, and chin.

Mix a highlighting powder like Shiseido Transluscent Loose Powder with your favorite golden bronzer and gently apply to the cheekbones in soft circles.

For some contrast, Page gave models strong ("but not too strong") brows. To start, brush brow hairs up and into an arch shape a clean mascara wand.

Using a small brush, fill in brows with a shadow one shade darker than your natural hair color.

For a dash of extra glow factor, artists dabbed highlighter beneath the brows as well as to the cheekbones and upper lip.
