Step 1: Prep and Conceal Blades prepped clean skin with an all-over toning mist by Kahina Giving Beauty followed by moisturizing Neroli face oil (by HGO Lab, $36 and $26 respectively at Blades Natural Beauty). For additional moisture, apply a few dabs of Flowers Face Balm to lips and dry patches (HGO Lab, $21). Brush concealer around the nose, under the eyes, and on the chin and blend outwards. Set with light bronzing power (Coleur Caramel bronzer in Matte Golden Brown, $34), dusting extra on high parts of the face.

Step 2: Apply Eye Makeup, Curl Lashes Using Zosimos Organics' dark brown pencil ($16 at Blades Natural Beauty), line upper lashes and bottom half of the eye, staying close to the roots. Apply coat of black mascara (Coleur Caramel Mascara in Black, $25), then dust lids with Alima Shimmer Shadow in Buttercream ($11 at Alima). Apply second coat of mascara and gently dab a touch of shimmer to the inner corner of the eye.

Step 4: Strong Brows Using the clean mascara wand, brush brows up and into an arch shape. With an angled brush, gently apply an eyeshadow one to two shades lighter than your natural brow color (Blades used Jane Iredale's shadow in "Cappuccino"). Fill in brows with short, gentle strokes. Finish by combing through with the clean mascara wand.
