Details are slowly starting to emerge about the legions of events planned for this September's big fashion outing, from celebrities at Barneys to a Bergdorf Goodman cabaret.
According to Fashionista, Barneys will once again be the go-to destination for It-designers like the Olsen twins (the department store carries their It-brand, The Row), Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, and more. This year, there'll apparently even be a karaoke contest with a Proenza Schouler bag among the potential prizes. Even more tantalizing is a report that cult fashion icon Daphne Guinness will even be on hand to sign perfume bottles: Frankly, seeing her outfit alone makes the whole event a can't-miss.
Elsewhere, Fashionista reports Bergdorf Goodman will host a cabaret with Isaac Mizrahi and Opening Ceremony will kick off its newly-revealed France lineup with a party held in collaboration with It-Paris boutique, Colette.
Expect a more complete lineup of the evening's festivities and can't-miss events in August.
