Before we begin gushing over the new space at 170 Ludlow, we must talk about the sample sale happening now at Assembly's old shop, two doors down at 174.
Today through Friday, 1-8 p.m., buy Risto (lots of sweaters and jackets hovering around $100), Raquel Allegra (jersey goodness as low as $40), Lindsey Thornburg (reduced Mexican blanket cloaks and coats), and Local Firm (a handful of size 27 jeans, to be exact). Given the limited goods and opening-day crowd, we advise getting there sooner rather than later.
