Last night, Alexa Chung beat out Kate Middleton for the coveted British Style award while McQueen's Sarah Burton took home Designer of the Year.

Each year, the British Fashion Awards recognizes the stylish contributions of English designers, models, and creatives making a splash in the UK and abroad. This year, It-girl Alexa Chung took home the coveted British Style Award (even beating out Kate Middleton) for the second year in a row.
