When we stopped by the Fashion Incubator Friday morning, French designer Alice Ritter gave us a sneak peek at her Fall 2011 boards of inspiration and sketches. We saw strips of lace, Serge Gainsbourg’s face, and sketches of bell-sleeved dresses. Swatches of small prints seemed sweetly ‘70s – but not entirely innocent. Alice revealed that the catalyst for this season’s creativity was the 1974 erotic film, Emmanuelle. Ooo-la-la!
