The Rolling Stones Announce 50th Anniversary Shows

After a few years of public squabbling and memoir-aided trash talking, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have decided to let bygones be bygones long enough for a few 50th Anniversary gigs, including stops at Newark Prudential Center on December 13 and 15. Tickets go on sale October 26.

There is also the matter of The Rolling Stones umpteenth greatest hits album to contend with. It's titled GRRR! and will have two new songs, the first of which, "Doom And Gloom." While it's dubious that anybody in this band even likes the rest of the members anymore, they'll almost certainly play "Jumping Jack Flash" at these gigs. For many people, that will be enough to justify everything.
