Having already set up shop in MePa, Soho, and Columbus Circle, Solstice Sunglasses is expanding to the Flatiron district, where it will open a store at 168 Fifth Avenue at 22nd Street. Classier than the Sunglass Hut (in that it, um, doesn't refer to itself as a hut), Solstice still prompted some moans when it opened on Ninth Avenue, but this new store isn't going to change the neighborhood much: It's replacing an Aerosoles. Expect it to open in the middle of next month.
