Starts Today: Stuart & Wright's Epic Sample Sale

Acknowledged by more than a few borough enthusiasts to be one of the most fashion-forward boutiques in Fort Greene (and Brooklyn, for that matter), Lafayette Avenue's own Stuart and Wright curates a special mix of French chic (APC & Isabel Marant) mixed with American Classic (3.1 Phillip Lim) in their airy shop.

Now, granted, names like "Isabel Marant" and "Vanessa Bruno" might not telegraph "affordable," and in these turbulent times we think that's pretty much what all of us want. So good news, budget shoppers: The charming little shop is staging a spectacular end-of-season sale that's still stocked with plenty of pieces you can wear pretty much out the door. We stopped in for a special preview last night and found Loeffler Randall boots, a 3.1 Phillip Lim swing coat, and some fantastic little Lewis Cho dresses—all at up to 75 percent off (and that's no joke). Now through Sunday, February 8, you'll be able to score even more incredible brands like Shipley & Halmos, Valentine, Borne, Ulla Johnson, and cozy Inhabit cashmere for seriously steep discounts.

Get there ASAP to score the best deals: You'll know the spot by the awesome "Garment Cleaner" facade that the owners chose to leave on the front of the store. The co-owners (Alec Stuart and Celeste Wright) have both cultivated a store with a "come in and hang out" vibe, so it'll be a welcome respite from the cold snow outside. Trust us.
