Over the years, the Barneys Warehouse sale has lost some of its luster for die-hard fans who miss the epic markdowns of yesteryear, but there are still amazing finds to be had, for those who can get there early.
Our biggest takeaways after taking a second look at the sale towards the end of the first day: The women's ready-to-wear section is a big disappointment, but the designer goods were seriously spectacular. Shoes were depleted, but still worth a look. Overall, plan on buying one spectacular item: It might be more than you think you should pay at a "sample sale," but it's still a lot less than you should really be paying for one of the most featured gowns in Marc Jacobs' fall collection (slide 11!).
