Starting Friday, January 7, a “limited number” of premium tickets, priced at $200, $300, and $500, will be available at the box office and by phone (no web ticketing for this, unfortunately).

The shindig will go down on the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage and pay tribute to all twelve decades of Carnegie Hall’s illustrious history, highlighting the major musical and cultural events to which it’s played host.

As if the A-list of performers wasn’t enough (we especially love the idea of Bette Midler, who famously got her start playing gay bathhouses with Barry Manilow, being the grande dame of Carnegie Hall’s gala), you’ll get to hobnob with gala committee members like Caroline Kennedy (honorary chair), Yo-Yo Ma, Calista Flockhart, Harrison Ford, Jay-Z, Regina Spektor, John Travolta, David Foster, and Tory Burch.  (And Anonymous, listed in the press release as a gala leader who’ll be in attendance that night. Long shot, but we're hoping it's the Anonymous.)

A Gala Celebrating 120 Years of Carnegie Hall, Tuesday April 12, 7PM. Tickets from $200 available at the Carnegie Hall Box Office (57th Street and Seventh Avenue) or by calling CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800. For full-priced reservations, go to the Carnegie Hall website.
