RackedWire: An Anniversary Party and a Trunk Show on the L.E.S.; Escada to Soho

LOWER EAST SIDE—Tomorrow, Freemans Sporting Club celebrates their two-year-anniversary and the autumn harvest at their store on 8 Rivington Street between Chrystie and the Bowery. All day they'll be offering serving hot apple cider, bobbing for apples, carving pumpkins, and otherwise being adorable and old-timey. Also, get 10% off "Revere & Pea Coats, Deck Jackets, Hobo Suits, our new Freemans Boots, Bank Bags, Knit Blazers and Sweatshirts." We really, really hope the Hobo suits have elbow patches and come with a can of beans and a bindle. [Racked Inbox]

LOWER EAST SIDE—Also tomorrow, shop Shop—which seems to be party central these days—hosts a trunk show with jewelry designer Jenny Sheriff, bag designer Antoinette Lee, and headband designers Angellust. While you're accessorizing, drink free wine. The event runs from 6pm to 8:30pm at 94 Orchard Street between Broome and Delancey. [Racked Inbox]

SOHO—According to Racked sources, Escada is planning a Soho outpost. Word is that the women's luxury house will be taking over the Ann Taylor space at 555 Broadway. It's an interesting move for the brand, which we associate more with Fifth Avenue ladies than downtown shoppers, but you really can't question the appeal of Broadway's foot traffic.
