Preview Nicole Richie's Noon Gilt Sale

Gilt Groupe has teamed with popular celebrity designer Nicole Richie on a full-price shopping event kicking off today at noon Eastern, during which time members will have the chance to buy her new House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate collections before they hit stores--two weeks in advance for accessories and one week for clothing.

Gilt's concept of advance access has proven as successful as discount prices when it comes to its three million-strong membership. Prior to partnering with Richie, the site sold out Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target in mere minutes (oversold, actually), and was similarly successful with full-price sales on Helmut Lang and Vogue's "Shop the Issue" event, WWD reports.

Richie identified her inspirations for the collections as "the way my mother used to dress, mixed with photographs of French gypsies, [particularly] the way they layer and mix and match everything.” Within the sale, certain pieces will be highlighted as "Nicole's Picks" and will come with a gift.

If the Tucker for Target blowout was any indication, discounts alone don't a frenzy make when it comes to Gilt. Get your mouse in position.
