One of the under appreciated blog launches this season has to be that of The John Dory Blog, on which Ken Friedman, April Bloomfield and company are dutifully chronicling the restaurant's slow but definite path to its debut. We stopped in yesterday for a couple of quick plywood shots, above, but these photos don't compare to the ones Friedman et al are taking themselves, such as these of the many different tiles that will cover the Dory walls. Best estimates still have the Del-Posto-adjacent restaurant opening in November.
