Piano Changing Its Tune?: The City Council will today approve…

The City Council will today approve the Renzo Piano-designed branch of the Whitney Museum planned for southern end of the High Line in the Meatpacking District. The nod is the last one needed before construction can begin, but will the museum be able to raise the $680 million needed in this economic climate? We haven't changed our commitment to the project." He sounds nervous. [Sun; previously]
