Paris 2.0: Roland Mouret Show Will Join Online Party

The biggest trend at the Europe fashion weeks so far? Broadcasting shows online, apparently, as Roland Mouret joins the ranks by featuring his Spring 2010 collection online next week, in millions of unique variations thanks to a cadre of strategically placed cameras that will bring the world at large right into the action.

In addition to the action-packed sequences from the runway and outside the venue, viewers can dive into the pre- and post-show backstage action, and watch interviews with Mouret and his team.  The designer is working with QMorphic, a Scottish company that edits video in real-time.  When viewers log on to see the activity at the show, and of course, check out the clothes, they'll also have the chance to pre-order what they see, before the line hits stores next month.

Europe definitely gets the innovation award, if you ask us - where was this new media grooviness in New York?
