What to Eat at Kesté, Aiming to Open Next Week

It’s looking like Kesté, the Bleecker Street pizzeria run by Roberto Caporuscio, the American-chapter president of the Associazone Pizzaiouli Napoletana, might open next Monday (instead of this weekend, as reported this week in the magazine). But here’s a first glimpse at the menu to tide you over until then. Not surprisingly, there’s no ham-and-pineapple pizza here, but there is a relatively outré number topped with butternut-squash cream, smoked mozzarella, and artichokes (a variation on the pie served to the Pope during the 2000 Jubilee), not to mention Caporuscio’s wife’s recipe for tiramisu.
