So, a lawyer from Subway demanded that Domino’s stop running ads claiming that folks prefer Domino’s sandwiches to Subway’s, two-to-one. In a stroke of genius, Domino’s CEO David A. Brandon responded by burning (or, “oven baking”) the cease-and-desist letter in an ad that ran during American Idol on Wednesday. Still not as viral as that “$5 foot-long” jingle. [PR Newswire]
