Phoebe Philo's Celine Debut Cometh Early; What Schemes Are Kate and Karl Cooking Up?


• Phoebe Philo's first collection for Celine will be resort 2009, before her spring 2010 October runway show, which was originally thought to be her debut season. The sooner the better, lady! [British Vogue]

• At Paris Fashion Week, Kate Moss only went to Karl Lagerfeld–related events: the Chanel show, the Chanel party and the Fendi party. Might she be the next face of one of those labels? [Fashionologie]

• When asked what the biggest challenge about his move into fashion was, Outkast's André Benjamin said being an African-American, because of the perception that "hip-hop stars will just throw their names on anything." He also said, "I'm not a gay man." [NYP]
