Gordon Wood
Model Caroline Byrne plummeted from a 95-foot high cliff to her death thirteen years ago in Sydney, Australia, when she was 24 years old. On Friday, her boyfriend, Gordon Wood, was convicted of murdering her. Authorities originally thought she committed suicide, but further investigation led them to believe Wood might have thrown her from the cliff. Wood pleaded not guilty and maintained Byrne killed herself because she was depressed. He plans to appeal. [CNN]
