Cheryl Rogowski, the first farmer awarded a MacArthur grant for diversifying her family farm upstate (and getting city folks to buy the stuff), will speak about her rogue successes on March 8 at Just Food’s 9th Annual Community Supported Agriculture Conference at the Teachers College of Columbia University. The $25 event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the last segment is mostly a chance meet CSA reps over free booze and cheese. [NY Charities]
