It looks like those Waverly Inn protests actually happened: “The demonstrators stopped Hugh Jackman, Barry Diller and Diane Von Furstenberg as they arrived at the Waverly, to show them photos of ‘appalling conditions’ they claim they're living under while the hotel is converted into a boutique inn — including an infestation of rats and little heat or hot water.” [NYP]
