Franklin Becker Confirmed In at Abe & Arthur's

The folks at Abe & Arthur’s have sent out a press release confirming earlier rumors that Franklin Becker will be the chef at the 180-seat bi-level restaurant and lounge. You’ll recall that Becker was last seen at Sheridan Square and was recently tapped to be the consulting chef at Delicatessen along with operations consultant David Rabin (Rabin was of course the owner of Lotus, the club that Abe & Arthur’s replaces). Along with the Abe & Arthur’s primary owners, Tenjune boys Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum, Becker has created a menu of “contemporary dishes made from the freshest ingredients available and built on the foundation of American bistro classics.” The venue opens in early summer.
