Minetta Tavern Debuts Lunch Menu

Today, Keith McNally's still-barely-bookable Greenwich Village restaurant Minetta Tavern launches lunch service. The menu should be familiar to anyone who's been for dinner, with favorites like the Black Label burger and roasted bone marrow both making appearances (those looking for the restaurant's excellent cote de boeuf will have to stick to evening dining). Minetta will serve lunch Wednesday through Friday, from noon to 3 p.m.

About 50 blocks uptown, Minetta's Midtown equivalent, the recently revamped Monkey Bar debuts new chef Damon Wise's lunch menu. Eater gets a look at the menu, which resembles the type of New American fare with French accents on which Wise made a name for himself (as Tom Colicchio's corporate chef at Craft). That means dishes like sweet ricotta ravioli, Jerusalem artichoke soup and roast chicken with fall vegetables.

Finally, for those not looking for a full, sit-down lunch, Momofuku Milk Bar tweets that they've reintroduced their seasonal Thanksgiving croissant. For the uninitiated, that's a croissant stuffed with turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce. [Eater NY; Twitter]
