Cask-Conditioned Ale Festival Returns to Chelsea Brewing Company

Sure, everybody loves their beer made and dispensed in the traditional way — unfiltered, unpasteurized, flat, and at room temperature. (Okay, maybe some people don’t.) But most times, when you ask even the fanciest of beer bars for their one cask-conditioned ale, all you get is an apology about how they don’t have it on tap at the moment. Well, you won’t have to suffer that kind of disappointment at the 3rd Cask Ale Festival at Chelsea Brewing Company, March 20 through March 22 (noon till midnight). A mind-boggling 45 real ales will be served in eight-ounce and sixteen-ounce glasses — six of them brewed by the Chelsea Brewing Company, the rest by other craft breweries. The best part is, there’s outdoor seating (and free brewery tours on Saturday and Sunday!) and no entry fee — just pay by the wonderfully warm glass.
