Water Taxi Beach
Kinetic Carnival recently reported that Beer Island, the man-made beach run by John “Cha Cha” Garcia, will return for Coney Island’s next season (sadly, the future of Cha Cha’s, his boardwalk dive, is uncertain). Now Newyorkology brings more good news for urban beachgoers, regarding the New York Water Taxi: “Not only did it complete its acquisition of Circle Line Downtown, but it’s also eyeing two Manhattan waterfront spots for possible Water Taxi Beach locations this season.” That’s right, two new Water Taxi Beach locations this summer. Time to slop on some bronzer.
