Frankly, so are we, but the mythology of it is so enticing that we couldn't help but fall for Thrillist's Drunkard's Lunch roundup, a.k.a. a list of restaurants around Manhattan offering two-for-one drink specials. Because now that you've lost your job, what else are you going to do between 11am and 3pm?
Highlights include two-for-one fresh lime margaritas at Allen Street's Mole, a selection of red and white wine and beer at Gramercy's Almond, and double beer and sangria at both Boqueria outposts. Plus, over at Southern Hospitality (yes, the Justin Timberlake 'cue place, and no, he's no longer involved), they're pouring two-for-one everything.
