Now Open: MePa Gets a Humongo Hugo Boss

Having patiently waited these last several months as the new Hugo Boss on West 14th Street built its weird endoskeleton in secrecy, we are happy to report that the space is quite stunning and yes, open. Since this is a concept store for Hugo Boss, "inspired by the special flair of the Meatpacking District," its obvious aim is to rejuvenate the brand's image and offer up and a kind of understated funkyness to draw in the casual shoppers of next door's Apple store.

Aside from carrying all of the Hugo Boss lines, the store even has a "light artist," who produced lighting for the space that reacts to the weather and time of day. They'll need it too, seeing as how the majority of Hugo Boss clothing is black; the better to spot the details, my dearie. For more stories from Racked, go to racked.com.
