Last night, rising design talent Sophie Theallet feted fashion editors -- and Meatpacking District flower shop Banchet Bianca -- with a color-splashed, silk- and -charm-laden line of shoe, bag, and jewelry designs for Nine West.
The collection -- which launches at top brick-and-mortar storefronts, NineWest.com, and The Nine West Facebook Fan Shop in May -- features pieces that convey Theallet's equal love for Paris and New York City.
The French-born, Garment District-based designer predicts that city women will flock to fold-and-pack ballet flats by day ("Hopefully, instead of ever wearing sneakers and skirts again") and stacked espadrilles and t-strap platforms by night.
