Meet Unit 2R at 943 President Street. It's a 2BR coop "nestled on one of North Park Slopes quietest and most desirable park blocks. With Prospect Park as your back yard and the Saturday Farmers Market around the corner, everything is at your fingertips." But it did go on the market at $549K right after Labor Day and got a serious visit from our friend the PriceChopper a couple of weeks ago. Now, if Slope 2BRs are coming down to $499K (even if they're coops), does this mean there is still hope for people whose dream of the ideal NYC life is a place for themselves in the Slope? Also, per Corcoran, even though the PriceChopper has bloodied up the place, the bathroom is Zen-like. We suppose how Zen depends on what happens when you're in there.
