Gowanus Canal destination dance party Mister Sunday will dabble in a new season on September 18 with a special Indian Summer installment. The open air disco wingding thrown by Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter suffered a wet August, missing three of four weekends. To make up for that, the boys will welcome hometown house hero Levon Vincent--the man proclaimed by Resident Advisor as one of the key figures in the city's recent house renaissance--to the Gowanus Grove decks. ($11 tickets here. 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.)
The bonus Mister Sunday comes fresh on the well-worn heels of a Mister Saturday Night affair the previous evening at 12-Turn-13. Also hosted by Harkin and Carter, MSN rings in fall with Pépé Bradock, a remix-happy French house jock whose earlier date with the Misters was nixed by Hurricane Irene.
